A veneer that anyone can identify as a veneer has failed, however white it is. The whole craft lies in the things nobody consciously notices.
Translucency before colour
Natural enamel is not one shade. It is opaque at the neck, increasingly translucent toward the edge, and it picks up a faint blue-grey at the incisal tip where light passes straight through. A ceramist builds that gradient in layers. A flat monochrome shade is what makes a smile read as artificial, not the brightness.
Proportion is designed on your face
The width-to-height ratio of the central incisors, the way the smile line follows the lower lip, the small asymmetries that make a face look human rather than rendered. All of it is worked out from photographs and video of you speaking, not from a template.
The trial smile
Before a single tooth is prepared, the proposed design is bonded temporarily over your own teeth. You take it home, eat with it, see it in your own mirror and your own light, and tell us what to change. Nothing irreversible happens until you have done that.
